Apologies for the late start and the need to pin punch at some controls in the early part of the long course. Wellow is a demanding area
for competitors and organisers alike. Control stakes with a number card and a pin punch were put out on Friday afternoon at all the difficult
control locations. Unfortunately a series of problems arose during Saturday morning and this meant that control boxes and kites were not placed
on a small number of the stakes until during the event. AR.
